pixieslayer: "Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."

I think most of us missed this the first time around. I think I was oh.. 7ish when Bush and Quayle were elected. And being a 7 year old, I had better things to do than watch political commentary. Well.. not really. I just didn't have internet for when I was bored.

The quotes on this gave me the giggles. It also reminded me that some people have a harder time expressing themselves than G.W. does.

cmc008: Might as well post something :)

Well, I just made my first real post to Live Journal. And I decided that I should post something here.

I heard that a good portion of the Windows source code was leaked. (About 15%) Wouldn't it just be interesting if Windows went open source. Think of how the world might change....

Also, I just got added to the rq_version2 community. Although I have no idea why or who added me. I accepted. It's basically a random question community. I wonder if somebody read my post and thought I was an interesting kinda guy. Boy will they be surprised :)

pixieslayer: divs, links ,inheritance, and logic

Inheritance is taught fairly early on in cs classes, so it always comes as sort of a shock when something doesn't inherit. Css is pretty nifty because you can keep your content relatively seperate from your markup. Each div usually has a few elements that I want to be styled differently. This is rarely a problem.

Unfortunately rarely != never. . .Collapse )

Backwards compatibility can go suck a rock.

Edit: I found a way to do it, but spent half an hour trying to fix wasn't broken. Thx sleepiness and a missing ".
